This workshop will introduce you to apply best practices in using Blackboard 9.1 in teaching through an on-line format. You will learn how to develop your course pedagogically and cognitively for effective course material delivery.

Google Drive (formerly Docs)
This training provides an overview of the on-line document storage and sharing service Google Docs. You will learn how to create, upload and manage your documents on-line, share and collaborate virtually with your co-authors and or students and publish them to services such as Blackboard. Additionally this workshop will feature creating and embedding on-line forms and data retrieval.
Horizon Wimba podcasting/webconferencing training
Learn how to teach live in an on-line virtual classroom environment with robust features that include audio, video, application sharing and content display, and MP4 capabilities.
In this workshop you will learn the foundation of programming in the HTML code. This workshop aims at introducing basics of HTML for enhancing Blackboard courses and on-line instructional materials with rich web-like content.
Mobile applications and Smartphones in Education

We will teach you how to use your mobile device to its fullest potential and to maximize its productivity. Podcast [Camtasia, Audacity, GarageBand]
Learn how to create a Podcast. This workshop will cover basics of recording, narration and post production of a Podcast. At the end of the podcast workshop we will upload a final product to Blackboard or other hosting service.
Learn how to create professional presentations. This workshop will introduce standard principles of creating a powerful instruction through applying and modifying various themes, animation, images, font faces, colors and sizes.
Turnitin / Grademark
Learn how to engage students and prevent potential plagiarism by delivering instant feedback on student assignments via Turnitin service for the Blackboard. This workshop will introduce the service and guide you through the necessary steps to create a Turnitin assignment folder.Learn how to grade ‘papers’ completely online. This subset of Turnitin feature will teach you how to quickly add and edit comments that will provide students with valuable feedback for building quality writing skills.
Learn basics of video capturing, production and publishing. This workshop is taught based on a preference in Final Cut, iMovie, Adobe Premiere, Camtasia or Windows Movie Maker.
